Gaudi's Dream for New York

Posted by Victor on May 31, 2002

Apparently, some New York entrepreneurs asked Gaudi to design a skyscraper for lower Manhattan. A rendered interpretation over Ground Zero, and over the current location of the Empire State Bldg. was presented yesterday in a CD-ROM at the Gell Palace in Barcelona.

Actually, Gaudi just made some sketches, which were developed into real blueprints by his padawan Matamala. You can get the pictures at Hotel Attraction (once it opens), meanwhile check this article at La Vanguardia.

Update: You can buy Hotel Attraction: Gaudi’s Project for New York from Amazon UK, and help support this site in the process.
